Lost Shifters 22 – A Christmas for Ava

Convinced that there is no Santa, Ava decides to ask him for the impossible, a baby for Carson and Keegan. She knows it will never happen, even though a deep part of her can’t help but hope. Everyone, even a little girl like her, can tell the couple wants a child of their own so badly.

But the holidays are a time for miracles, so who knows what could happen? Maybe the mates will have their wish come true and prove to Ava that yes, there is a Santa Claus.

Wayne County Wolves 2.5 or Nibble – The Odds Maker

One thing’s for certain—having the names Wright, Justice, Salvation, Might and Defeat sucked, big time. Not only did it make them the butt end of jokes, but it also sounded like something a romance writer with an overinflated ego would name the characters of their books.

Then again, Subject 198′s children had little choice in any matters, let alone their names. Bred and born in a lab, they’re a mutation of shifter mixed with human. They were also the last secret the human government held about the shifter world and their most dangerous weapon.

The last thing they needed was for Wright to spot a certain Wolf halfling—one that was so cute, Wright didn’t even notice that Wolf walked with a limp and had worse asthma issues than a nerd from an eighties movie. Finding a mate was something his owners had forbidden Wright from ever doing.

So just how does one go about leaving a branch of the government that doesn’t allow anybody to leave—that is unless they are in a body bag?
